Welcome on RVPI Project Website

The RVPI (Virtual Reality for Industrial Production) project results from a collaboration between the UTC (Université de technologie de Compiègne) and Continental France SNC plant at Clairoix (80 km from Paris). From this collaboration emerged an innovative training tool.

This tool is a tyre manufacturing simulator allowing operators to be trained on their future tasks. The main goals of this new system are:

• To reduce the training time
• To increase the technical knowledge of operators
• To improve assimilation of training concepts and procedures
